Wears The Trousers
recently released an album in tribute to Odetta consists of songs sung by different singers and whose profits go to two women's associations.
I bought on Amazon the song All My Trials sung by Marissa Nadler (the sound is not that the last album overproduced Marissa but that of his previous albums and that's good) and the song All The Pretty Little Horses sung by Kelli Ali (flute with the very present, as in his last great album Butterfly ).

Behind this name hides an Australian singer Sally Seltmann and called his latest album Somewhere, anywhere released in 2007 is a very good disque.Les songs are very good and the piano is a wonder if merveille.Je disc is not my favorite. Sally Seltmann
released next year a new album's first single, but unfortunately we can listen on his MySpace page does not bode well bon.On see but what is certain is that Somewhere, anywhere it is a gem.

I waited for the new album Tender Coming Here's the Rachel Unthank & The Winterset now called The Unthank forward and I was not disappointed.
I must confess that when I saw this bag of evil Wears The Trousers when it had a news item to announce the release date of new album I had because I thought peur.Peur This attractive bag was made for attract the general public and that the new songs will not be as interesting as the album The Bairns was excellent and is still one of my favorite discs . I was wrong, and news group I reported here and were right there: Tender Coming Here's the album is actually a very warm but no less sad than The Bairns and it's not a hard bis of the latter while is no different. I was hoping
an album at least as well as the previous but in fact it is still mieux.Certains titles are really wonderful especially Sad February , Annachie Gordon, Living by the Water , Flowers of the Town and Here's The Tender Coming . The hidden track Betsy Bell out of step with the others but is also good.

I discovered The Langley Sisters Wears The Trousers on and it was a real crush on this group.
They are three sisters who are English and that makes the music's retro songs are 40-50.The very real and compelling.
are available on the digital album eMusic.L 'physical album is expected soon but I do not know if it will have the same songs that you can legally download on eMusic, but what is certain is the first single physical Queen Bee be leaving here shortly though it is from the album digitally.

folk and Alexa sings with his banjo and accompanying his group quietly.
Alexa has a nice voice and all songs are good. Speck is a really good album that you can buy on CDBaby.

Julie Feeney is a very talented and his last album Pages marvelous music that combines songs with musical instruments classique.Elle wrote, composed, directed the orchestra and sang the title this disc she released on her own label Mittens.
There's a real freshness that emanates from this album and some tracks are really excellent, especially Love Is A Tricky Thing , Impossibly Beautiful , Myth, Mr. Rovin Eye Guy , Stay and Monster.
Definitely one of my favorite album and my album is autographed by Julie!

This book fascinating first novel by Pierre-Yves Touzot has the power to take us in an extraordinary adventure which we can not reveal anything especially at risk of misrepresenting the pleasure of the reader . Imagine this: a man we know nothing of his past awakens in the heart of the wilderness in a region of the world it is impossible identify with his side a kind of capsule no bigger than his body used to transport it. That is the starting point of this tale of a wild imagination who will question the very meaning of our lives. Thousand and one finds that dot this work as it devours the best thrillers and science fiction novels. One thinks Barjavel, Arthur C. Clarke, with all these great writers who have attempted to answer why the presence of man on earth never forgetting to make us dream. The bet was crazy, we can not even riskier, and we ventured into this story as explorers from another time, machete in hand, to conquer a new world that makes us go from one surprise. Our brain is boiling over the pages and nothing can ever predict the collapse of the incredible book before its last act, confounding beauty. An author is born, for sure. Personally I did not read anything like it since long. I devoured this epic as you read Jules Verne or Harry Potter 12 years later Paul Auster. It sparked my imagination, fed me to thinking, sounds, images, emotions ... I thought about it for days and she did indeed still not really left. For the hero of this novel that does not name, at least it invents Does one measure of his odyssey, I experienced all sorts of impressions, the great strength of the book is to be interactive with the player permanently. Nature, also of primary importance here is a strange character in the sense that the author casts a particularly novel. In our precarious condition in 2009 when the landowner seem numbered years, our planet being robbed every day of his attributes, the nature of Distant Lands looks new, without limits, as in the early days of its creation. Pierre-Yves Touzot makes us rediscover as if leaving for a trip forgotten if ever undertaken since the great explorations.
It is difficult to say any more here, up to the book itself and and the pleasure of reading the epic that I also rediscovered. You understood, Foreign Land, is already on my line favorite library. BFB

The autumn of 2009 represents an exciting and adventurous time for the Mercury nominated Geordie band formerly known as Rachel Unthank & The Winterset.
Having established themselves as the most innovative and critically acclaimed English folk band in modern history, with admirers as disparate as members of Radiohead, Portishead, Robert Wyatt, Ben Folds, Nic Jones, Ewan McGregor and Nick Hornby, The Unthanks are preparing to risk it all with another audacious step sideways.
While the abbreviated name reflects the long-established reality that the band is co-fronted by Rachel Unthank's sister Becky Unthank, the real development sees an extended line-up that includes string quartet, brass, percussion, tuned percussion, bass, and The Unthank's producer Adrian McNally taking on piano responsibilities from Stef Conner who returns to a PHD. Winterset key member Niopha Keegan continues on violin.
New album Here's The Tender Coming will be released in September, ahead of a 42 date UK tour that begins on October 10th, followed by overseas tours early next year. The album title is taken from a track on the album, in which the tender coming is the boat coming to press men into war, but the title also serves as a metaphor for the shift in mood from The Unthanks.
Here's The Tender Coming is a calmer, melancholic, warmer colour of sad than the intense bleakness of its predecessor; The Bairns , nominated for The Uncut Music Prize Mercury Music Prize and have one of the top ten British albums of the Year.
Here's The Tender Coming Is A hugely different album The Bairns to , though less intimate and Hopefully No minimum for all The Extended Arrangement ethic. It Is The sound of a creative team With No interest in The Laurels of resting it was critically and Commercially Successful Formula.

Camera Obscura - My Maudlin Career Info
few days ago I discovered at Fnac Camera Obscura and their new album My Career Maudlin.
I had once seen on the cover Wears The Trousers who had chronicled the album there over a month but then I do not yet systematically clicked on all items to see if there a link to the artist's MySpace page to listen to music and see if I like or not and so I skipped the article.
Fortunately this album is available at Fnac because Maudlin My Career is a marvel of pop songs with really excellent ( Honey In The Sun that closing the album is huge) and I love the beautiful voice of singer Tracyanne Campbell.
Definitely one of the best pop albums I've heard (with Moenne And Kitchi of Gregory & the Hawk even though musically it's different).

I hope it will be in the same genre as Felt Mountain Seventh Tree or or something else of equal quality but especially not a new or Black Cherry Supernature !
Gregory and the Hawk is also working on a new album.
Moenne kitchi and I chronicled here is really excellent and is one of my albums préférés.J love it Godreau Meredith's voice is very crisp!

In my previous message, I said that I would buy Butterfly . That's what I did last Sunday and I received the album yesterday (six days after my order, it's fast, so that the package comes from England!). I would take care of this very hard for Kelli Ali signed to me (you can ask for when ordering on PayPal) and it makes me really happy! There was not only the album in the package because it was also accompanied by a leaflet-poster advertising the latest disc by Kelli Ali ( Rocking Horse , Butterfly and The Savages singles and What To Do ) also signé.Je'll even keep the shell because it is very likely (I'm even sure) Kelli Ali, who wrote my coordinates are (yes, I am a big fan!).
Butterfly is an album comprised of acoustic ten songs that are, in order, Butterfly , Throw it to the Dogs , One Day at a Time , Willows Song , Wings in Motion , Rocking Horse , Uric , September Sky , A Storm in a Teacup and Before the Kiss . The two new songs are Butterfly and Throw it to the Dogs . Willows Song is a cover of a song that comes from the soundtrack of a film called The Wicker Man . I was very pleasantly surprised when I heard this song because the title is also present in the name How Do Album Becoming X Sneaker Pimps of with Kelli Ali was chanteuse.C 'was the last title of the album and the best, he was really magnifique.Je am very glad to find this title on this album! Wings in Motion is a cover of a song Tigermouth , the first solo album of the singer. One Day at a Time , Rocking Horse , Uric , September Sky and A Storm in a Teacup are covers of songs from the album Divine Rocking Horse. The last song, Before the Kiss is a song from a period of 3 minutes 57 whose first half is a new acoustic music and the last half a cover of The Kiss always album Rocking Horse .

few days ago, I made a wonderful discovery through Wears The Trousers who has made a review of the new album from Kelly Ali Butterfly .
Kelli Ali was the singer's first album Becoming X released in 1996 from a trip-hop group called Sneaker Pimps . I still have the disc (with the original cover, not the second which was subsequently replaced) which was really bien.Je not remember where I heard for the first time the song 6 Underground but j 'had enjoyed it and afterwards I really tried to find out who sang it (the Internet did not exist yet). I was happy when I found the name of the song and the group and able to buy album. At the time, I liked the song 6 Underground cons but I did not listen much to other titles on the disc because they were less accessibles.Aujourd 'Today, I think It would be contraire.Quelques years later the band released a new album but it was more Kelli Ali on vocals but a singer, so I stopped to écouter.Par Later, with the Internet, I discovered Kelli Ali that made a solo album but on the merchant site where I found you could not hear the songs I have not continued my research and so I eventually forgot Kelli Ali.

Last Wednesday, Kelli Ali Butterfly released a new album in limited edition consists of new songs and times of a few titles in acoustique.L Rocking Horse album is available only on the website singer and on his MySpace page. I will certainly buy it too!

Kelli Ali was the singer's first album Becoming X released in 1996 from a trip-hop group called Sneaker Pimps . I still have the disc (with the original cover, not the second which was subsequently replaced) which was really bien.Je not remember where I heard for the first time the song 6 Underground but j 'had enjoyed it and afterwards I really tried to find out who sang it (the Internet did not exist yet). I was happy when I found the name of the song and the group and able to buy album. At the time, I liked the song 6 Underground cons but I did not listen much to other titles on the disc because they were less accessibles.Aujourd 'Today, I think It would be contraire.Quelques years later the band released a new album but it was more Kelli Ali on vocals but a singer, so I stopped to écouter.Par Later, with the Internet, I discovered Kelli Ali that made a solo album but on the merchant site where I found you could not hear the songs I have not continued my research and so I eventually forgot Kelli Ali.

The new musical discovery I mentioned is called Gregory & the Hawk . Contrary to what the name is reminiscent of the artist is a singer (there are many opportunities I listen to a singer than to see a penguin in the desert) and it is called Meredith Godreau. I will do my article about my new discovery which is (a little) and rather sweet catchy this weekend.

The new Mara Carlyle has been completed but ...
I did not say but nuzzle, the new album by Mara Carlyle, has been completed in recent months but it is delayed because EMI due to contract negotiations where he "continues to languish unnecessarily , like a ship hijacked off the coast of Somalia ." few days ago I saw on the internet there a version of divine album Marissa Nadler Songs III : Bird on the Water with eleven songs but not five, four of more compared to the normal version and the novel called Conjuring Spirit Worlds , Daisy and Violet , Honey Bear and Cortez the Killer . By the way, before I noticed that there is another version of the cover of the disc where the "water" the album title is spelled with a "w" majuscule.Par after I went on Kemado Records , the label that released Songs III: Bird on the Water (Peacefrog Records in Europe) and Little Hells and saw that the release of Songs III they sell on their site there is a card included that lets you download all four songs.
